Hair color changing?

I tried dyeing my hair back to the natural color it came out to my natural color. I know this because a few years ago i had a big hair cut and i saved the hair. It matched PERFECTLY!!!! but now the roots have come in like 1 1/2 inches Dark brown almost like blackish. My hair used to be medium brown? what happened? should i dye it again?

Hair color changing?

well this is called virgin hair...it hasnt really had time for sun and other damaging effects to lighten it. I would color it again let it grow some and it should match eventually

IT WILL CHANGE COLORS WHEN DYEING ALOT

Hair color changing?

how old are you? if you're young, your hair probably got naturally darker.

Lots of things can impact your hair pigmentation...including age and exposure to sunlight. If you want to lighten it a bit and bring out the highlights, just pour a cup of strong chamomile tea over your head after you shampoo, and then sit out in the sun for an hour.

Maybe your color faded.

Hair color also changes with life/age/exposure. Good luck, I can't remember what my natural one is...been coloring it so long! :)

The more you dye your hair....the darker it will grow in. I use to have medium brown hair with natural blonde highlights and my dumb *** came up with this brilliant idea to dye it red...don't ask...and anyway....it continued to grow in darker every time. That's just how it goes. Instead of dying your hair all over again....I would just get the root touch up kit...you can find it in any cvs/walmart/sallys/ etc.......good luck to ya and sorry to break the news. Us women do crazy things for beauty!!

You should probably wait until after the summer months, because sun drenched hair naturally turns lighter than your normal color. If you wait until the Fall months to dye it again, more than likely your roots will grow back and match.

i had the same prob..well i dyed it again and it came out perfect..wel i think thats what u should do..and also use colortrive and color treated hair products like shampoo,conditioner,spray,ect...

No matter what color you color your hair it will never grow back to the color you want it to. It will grow to your actual color. Wait two months to get your natural color back and then look for a color that matches your natural color. Go with Clairol's Natural Instinct. It will work. Always use a shade darker that your natural color to get to get the color to match your natural color and if you want a shade lighter then get a lighter color.

Go to a salon shop, savon, or walgreens to buy a product called "Nice 'n Easy Root Touch-up" to brush on color to apply to the dark roots only, that matches your expectation by choosing the matched color. Simple as that.

Hair color changing?

NO, only use a touch up, I've dyed my hair so much i only see natural when roots grow in. good luck and i hope you like it. PS you will never have your first natural color again, it will always be something diff.

If you are matching hair to what was cut off, then the ends would be lighter than the roots, due to damage and being lightened by the sun. I'm sure the roots are what your actual hair color is. Try matching your eye brows instead of cut off hair. It will be a better match. You should also wait at least 3 weeks before you try to re-dye it, lest you cause severe damage.

Hair color does change as you get older, but roots are always darker than the ends. Look at any little kid, they are as natural as can be, but their roots are always a shade to three shades darker than the ends. Plus, with color washing fades and being in the sun will bleach out even color treated hair. I'd consult a professional colorist but it might just take a home glossing treatment to make it all blend again. (it cheaper, faster and makes your hair very shiny)

YOUR COLOR HAS CHANGE FOR DYEING IT TO MUCH

YOU PROBABLY NURN YOUR HAIR
