If it is a semi-perm color, you will be okay. A perm color may cause some damage (excessive drying; breakage). I would wait two weeks for the perm color, just to be on the safe side.

No, I did both of those thingsn in one day like hours apart when I was like 19, im 23 now, on the bad side what did happen was the perm altered the color of the dye that I put in my hair and turned it from like a dirty blode to a clown orange lol my husband laughed at me, but nah it wont fall ,out, but dont take my word for it,.... but wait thats what youre on here for right taking other peoles words lol...

You have to know your own hair. It might not "fall out" right away, but it will break off after a while. The best thing to do if you do color it is put a rinse over the bleech. Good luck and I hope it looks nice.

you're doing it backwards!!

perm it first, then use a semi-permanent color after. a semi-permanent color has little or no ammonia, and doesn't damage the hair.

try redken shades-eq. it's a color conditioner. and the next time you get a perm, ask you hairstylist to add a cap of semi-permanent color to the neutralizer just add a bit of that color back to your hair.

well, if you do that you run the risk of severely damadged hair.or it might turn out nicely. well if you ask me i will just choose 1 chemical treatment to be safe. perming is the 2nd most damadging thing you could do to your hair while coloring is the third.
