Which temporary hair color would work better for me?

im planning to put pink streaks in my hair. i have black hair. should i use hair mascara or colored hair spray? what are the pros and cons of both? which one would show up better on black hair? and i want the color to wash out after i wash my hair. thanks

Pretty much everything is hard to see with black hair. Sorry. I've always had really dark hair and nothing temporary ever worked. You might be able to coat better with the mascara. The thicker the coat, the better chance you'll have of seeing anything. If you have already purchased both types try both on small strands of hair, you might surprise yourself with the results.
