Wrong hair color!?

ok so today i colored my hair, my hair was a honey blonde color i wanted to go darker so i went to the salon and asked to get it colored a dark brown ( chocolate brown) when done my hair was dark black the lady said once i get outside the color will lighten up NOPE my hair is really dark black she said that she didnt know what happened. she said she used the correct color and does not know why it turned black. now she wants to charge me to lighten it, i don't think so ill leasve it like this for a couple of months, i even saw the color before she applyed it and it was a nice brown. waht should i do, or with the washes will it get lighter.

give it more time, but she cannot charge you for her mistake, that is illegal.

With washes the color will fade but, another thing you can do to quicken lightening is soak your hair in lemon juice and go out in the sun. That should make your hair lighter as well.

I think the color will fade in time. But if you want to change it back to the original color, get a color rinse kit - such as color oops. It will take out the artificial hair color.

You can find it at Walgreen's as well as other drug stores.

ur hair pry will get lighter as it tends go grow out and after a lot of washes. dont color it again cuz u will really damage ur hair. and if she wants to charge u to change it, thats crap. shes the one who colored it wrong and it was her mistake so she should atleast give u a discount.

As you wash it, it will get lighter and turn to the color it is supposed to be.

WASH IT A FEW TIMES WITH ANTI DANDRUFF SHAMPOO........IT MAKES HAIR COLOUR FADE.

Hair color always lightens after a few washings so wait a day or two. IF it is not the desired color, you can return back to the salon and have them strip the color. Most salons will do repairs or fix any unsatisfactory hair service free of charge. Also the beautician can add high lights to the darker color it as an option so it ends up being the desired color that you are looking for. Most of us don't have one color of hair so adding low and high lights to the hair gives it a more natural appearance.

use a lot of cleansing shampoos and a lot of conditioners and now that you have turned into a gothic goddess, have fun for the fall. i think the look is hot anyway but yeah, you will be fine. also sometimes if you have dyed your hair before or used henna , that could have altered the color.

Coloring your hair can be very touchy. I don't think with many washes the hair color will change much!! Going to a salon that knows what they are doing is important and finding someone who works with your hair all the time is great too! Try it for a fewcause you didn't mention that it looked bad!! So, unfortunately, it sucks to have to pay to get it lightened but I would see how it goes for a few months you might end up liking the color!! Did anyone mention if it looked bad or any compliments on the new hair color?!! I know you may not be happy with the outcome but try to stay positive... if it is really bad then pay to have it lightened just don't go back to that salon!!LOL!! It's not always a horrible thing to have a drastic change, I bet you look HOT anyway!! Goodluck!!

I've colored my hair many times and it does look darker wen you do it. after you wash your hair the color starts getting lighter. you just need to be patient.

See when you add color to a colorful head your probably gonna get a darker result, if your head had white hear then you would get the exact color. Next time to get your hair a bit darker try something lighter...

And to make your hair lighter now, just wait a while and it will get lighter eventually...
