I saw a girl with her top half of her hair dyed red and the bottom part died black and they faded into one another and looked great. Is there a name for that hair coloring technique? Any web sites I can look at that could tell me more? Thank you. =)

At my salon we call it a peekaboo. usually some will get a high light and low light halo( which stops half way down the head) then the rest of the hair is all one color( usually the same as the low light) and we use a zigzag part in the back to help it blend all together. I think it looks really good too and you have so many color options. add me to your contacts and email me if you have more questions. I've had mine blonde on top with pink on the bottom, and blonde with purple. My salon calls it an underlay.
