What can you use to remove hair color from a bathroom carpet?

I was coloring my hair and some of it dripped onto my bathroom rug. I thought I got it all out, yet there is still some there. Any suggestions on how I can get it out?

A utility knife or scissors! Then cut a little piece of carpet from the back of a closet corner and glue it into the pace where you cut out the stain. Quite easy actually. Just make sure you measure properly, start with a larger piece and work it down to fit.

Unfortunately, nothing.

Sorry.

If it's white, you can try bleaching the color out with hydrogen peroxide. You should do a test on a place where it won't show, if the fabric isn't 100% cotton. Sometimes synthetic/blend fabrics react unpredictably to bleaching agents, but it could work.

I splashed some auburn hair color on my light blue and white striped wall paper in the bathroom. I put some hydrogen peroxide on a q-tip and dabbed the white stripe. It came out.

Stands to reason: If you are going to bleach the color out of your hair, that would work, so I figured I might as well try it on the wall paper.

Replace the rug. It's probably about 20 sq. ft.
