The best solution is to have your hair trimmed to remove the dead ends.

Nexus has a great product called 'Emergency' that is for brittle hair with damage.
You can also use a leave in conditioner like Infusium. It works great.
If you are doing an full head application everytime you color, thats how you got damage. Overlapping is what thats called.
When you color your hair, you should only do a full application every now and then.
Root application is generally the best route, so you don't damage your hair.
The other alternative is to cut it off and start again. I myself had to do this before I became a Cosmetologist.
Knowledge is king when it comes to doing your own hair.
Hope this helps!

You need a good conditioner. Nothing leave-in but a good rinse out conditioner for daily use. About once a week I mix a Conditioner Cocktail to use on my over processed hair. A little of every kind of conditioner in the bathroom, Mix them all in the palm of your hand and then work it though your hair roots to ends. Wrap your head in a towel and let it set on your hair for 20-30 minutes. Using a warm or hot towel is best(helps set the conditioner into your hair). Rinse well with warm not hot water. Another tip is to not use the same shampoo everyday until the bottle is empty. Switch out now and then to something different. I jump from Aussie to Garnier. Never the same one for more then 3-4 days in a row.

you dont really need to buy anything, just have a good conditioner right after you shampoo your hair leave conditioner on your hair for 5 minutes and than rinse, do this everyday, and you will have great ends and hair dont put sooooo much on your roots

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.
First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)
Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)
Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)
Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short
Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!
The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower
You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.
You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.
