Hair color, is this in ?

My hair is very dark in nature and I had highlighted so much that now it is totally blonde. It is very hard on my hair. I was thinking about doing low lights to gradually bleach it less and less. I had noticed people with hair that is two tone, in a drastic way.

Like darker underneath, or lower half of hair and pretty blonde on top. Check out this link, I want to do so something similar to her hair color, think an average person can pull this look off, or is it too much a look for an artist, my hair of course is not as long as hers.

Yeah, it's in, but very difficult to do if you dont have

1.) very thick hair

2.) extensions put in if your hair is damaged

I know alot of people who are not famouse and have that 2 color thing going on. I think it looks nice, but i suggest if you get it done get it done at top noch salon.

It looks great on shakira, but this look isnt for everyone. It is very hard to pull off, Some people remind me of a skunk after they have it done. Just my opinion, if your skin is very pale, i dont reccomend it.

I am a hairdresser and color specialist and this look is IN, IN, IN! I disagree that it is difficult to pull off, and agree that it needs to be done at a top notch salon. Two important things: 1) It's not really any lower in maintenance because the blonde is still on top where you need frequent touch ups and 2) It looks best when the undertones of the light color and dark color match. Don't use an ash brown and warm blonde or vice versa. I would recommend going to a stylist that's been doing hair for a while because there's more to a tint back than just throwing some dark over your previously lightened hair.
