Anyone experience coloring your hair with a permanent hair colour in the first trimester? how did it

your baby? I coloured my hair (touch ups) every month in my first trimester... I am so worried now.

Anyone experience coloring your hair with a permanent hair colour in the first trimester? how did it affect yo

Your baby will have the same color as your hair. So if you colored your hair purple, pray that I'm wrong. =P

All jokes aside, I've yet to hear anything about coloring your hair should affect your unborn baby. I don't think there's much to worry about.

Not really is you aren't dyeing all your hair every time. If you're using the same color every time, you only really need to just dye to roots so they match. But if your color has gotten dull, maybe you can pull the color through to the ends in the last five minutes or so.

Will i ruin my hair by coloring it from a box every 6 weeks?

yes it will damage your hair. can you just do root touch-ups so that your ALL of your hair doesnt get damaged every time you color? thats the best advice i can think of.

Will i ruin my hair by coloring it from a box every 6 weeks?

It depends on what color your using, I've been told that coloring your hair darker does not do as much damage as bleaching your hair does, this is because the bleach strips away your hair's natural oils that prevent hair splittage, as well as it's color. My advice to keep your hair it's healthiest is to lean toward darker colors and also don't use Loreal because their color mixture contains minerals that can cause a hair stylist's coloring mix to turn a different color than intended when applied to your hair.

Will i ruin my hair by coloring it from a box every 6 weeks?

This is a question a lot of people ask when they come into a salon. Does the box color damage my hair? Is it bad for me? The problem with Box color is sometimes they contain metallic dyes, which can be very unpredictable, and give you undesirable results. If you decide to ever get a perm after using box color, the salon probably won't do it. The chemicals can have a bad reaction to perm solutions and such. My suggestion to you is let it grow out, your stylist can always touch up the new growth with Semi permanent color until your old dye eventually gets cut off. For people who like to change their hair color often box color is not a good idea, unpredictable results, uneven color and just plain not cute!

Will i ruin my hair by coloring it from a box every 6 weeks?

that depends on your grade of hair and weather you do or don't take care of your hair properly. let's consider that you do. no it won't. stars and models color their hair on demand. and their hair is not ruined. i am well aware that you are not a star but you are still human. with normal hair. toodles!!!

Coloring my hair concern?

My hair is white-blonde. If I dyed it a shade of brown, would it be damaging? What should I expect? Any general info would help.

Coloring my hair concern?

If it's your first time dying it, it won't damage your hair too much but trust me, once you dye your hair, your gonna want to keep dying it over %26amp; over again to get rid of roots or change your colour after you get sick of it and THEN it'll be damaged.

Coloring my hair concern?

It's fine, it wouldn't be damaging at all. Don't worry, enjoy the experience. Just don't dye it too often or your hair will get really course and damaged.

Coloring my hair concern?

it depends on the shade of brown you are planning on dying your hair. If I were you I would stick to a lighter brown because going too dark to start off with probably would not be the best choice.

Coloring my hair concern?

if you are going from that light of a color to a dark color make sure you get a red filler be for you do it because ur hair will turn green if you don't! If your going to a salon they will know what to do but if your doing it yourself just remember that

What can I do to color my root's better? My hair is coloring good but not my root's real we

If you are using a box color -

Do your roots only. Don't pull the color throught the rest of your hair until you need to. Maybe every 3rd time you color.

or

Leave the color on the roots for 20 minutes, then pull the color through and leave it on the whole head for another 20 minutes.

What can I do to color my root's better? My hair is coloring good but not my root's real well.?

If you're getting a lot greyer, you might have to buy professional grade hair color from a beauty outlet or go to a salon for coloring.

What can I do to color my root's better? My hair is coloring good but not my root's real well.?

Root retouching can be tricky. Are the roots not coloring at all or fading quicker or what?

Based on the question: If you are using the same color as used previously, then the roots should be applied first and left on for the recommended time, then just rinsed through the ends. Sometimes the roots might need a color level darker or lighter if you are still having difficulty getting the color to match or take.

What can I do to color my root's better? My hair is coloring good but not my root's real well.?

Sometimes roots can be tricky, I would recommend applying the dye to your roots first, then working your way down and leave the actual dye on your roots for a longer period of time. Make sure that you use a good type of dye, I would recommend not getting the ones that come in the box and instead getting it from a beauty supply where you mix it yourself with the developer, check with an employee there and see what type of base you will need to best cover your hair color.

Hope this helps.

Coloring my hair blue?

i have dark brown hair and want to dye it blue so that its not true blue but has a blue sheen in the sun ecteraa... is it possible to achieve this effect permanently and/or without using bleach? and is there a specific brand that is good?

Coloring my hair blue?

The only permanent color you will find with blue sheen will be a black, heavy ash. You do NOT want to dye your hair black. The only way you can do this is with a semi or demi permanent color. Hot Topic's colors are better than Manic Panic, they do not wash out as quick AND if you learn to wash your hair less often, use less heat, and wash, condition and rinse with COLD water, it will stay in longer.

Coloring my hair blue?

You have to bleach it, it will be very hard to see, and it will wash out very quickly

Coloring my hair blue?

i did that one summer...use manic-panic..you can find it at sally's beauty supply, hot-topic, and beauty supply store.

Coloring my hair blue?

Not permanently, You can get a cellophane or manic panic and it will have a "blue Hue" It will wash out...

Coloring my hair blue?

the only way you can do that w/o bleach is to dye it a black tone. its called blueberry or something and garnier sells it....its like black but in the sun it has a blue sheen...pretty cool

Coloring my hair blue?

i have that with my hair right now and i have dark brown hair too.

i don't know of any permanent blue dye, but if you do it right the semi-permanent dyes last about a month. I use Fudge velvet blue.

Yes, you do have to bleach it. if you add blue dye to dark brown hair it will look jet black with no blue sheen at all. what i did to my hair is just get blonde highlights (at a salon) and then add the blue velvet Fudge at home.

the shade of blue I use is quite dark, so when i put on my hair, the highlights are subtle enough that my hair looks black with a blue sheen. people usually ask if my hair is dyed blue because they can't tell right away, only when the light is right.

Coloring my hair blue?

you can color your hair blue/black, or use temporary colors like fudge, manic panic, or special effects(sold at hot topic) but there is no permanent blue hair color on the market. all of these will give you the desired effect for about a week......

Coloring my hair blue?

Blue is a natural pigment of hair, but it is rarely visible to the eye, so technically speaking for it to be visible you need to remove your won colour then add the blue. The blue you add however is unnatural pigment, so it will tend to come out very fast. Worst it will fade to motly colours. Best advice is to leave it. After 18 years as a technical colourist I have very rarely seen satisfactory results. On top of all that whatever colour you lighten your hair to Will affect the outcome ie if you get it to a golden colour and add blue you will end up greenish (blue %26amp; yello makes green). The more you lighten, the more you damage and the lesser chance your hair will have of holding the end colour.

Good luck with your decision.

HOW does hair foil help coloring your hair?

Like, in salons.. you see the stylists put hair foil onto the hair after the application of the dye.. what is the foil used for?

HOW does hair foil help coloring your hair?

it's to keep the colored section separated from the rest for one. Also to create a "greenhouse effect" (ie: cook the dye into your hair), so that the colour saturates your hair strands.

HOW does hair foil help coloring your hair?

HOW does hair foil help coloring your hair?

I think it prevents color from getting on more than one section of hair.

HOW does hair foil help coloring your hair?

its special foil not just aluminum foil... and to keep the hair moist until you wash it out.

HOW does hair foil help coloring your hair?

Its not special foil, its regular foil you buy at the super market. And it keeps the color or bleach from the rest of the hair, like when you get highlights, and you don't want to use a cap, and you don't want to add heat to most bleaches and color, it says so on the label.

HOW does hair foil help coloring your hair?

all the foil does is seperate the hair that is in the foil (and being colored) from the hair not being colored. the only thing "special" about this foil is that it is cut differently than the foil you would buy at a store, it may also be a different color. but it is just aluminum foil.

and you can add heat to bleach and color, but you have to know what you are doing!!

The most household-y item that I know of would probably henna, although that doesn't last long (just a few weeks, maybe even days).

I need advice on coloring my hair myself?

My hair used to be blonde but it started fading into brown so I used hair lightener stuff to make it blonde again, but then I really wanted my hair to be brown cuz blonde really isnt good for me. Right now my hair is just kind of dull light brown. I really want my hair to be medium-dark brown, but I don't have the money to get it done professionally. Should I try to do it on my own and what are the risks of doing it on my own? What kind of hair dye should I use? Any tips for doing it on my own? Thanks!

I need advice on coloring my hair myself?

Natural Instincts all the way!!!

Ive used a LOT of different home dyes and this is by far the best and healthiest for your hair.

For a first time person, its best to go with a color closest to your own. Maybe a shade darker, or a shade lighter. Follow the directions to the letter, and you should have NO problems.

You can change colors, or give your natural color a boost. It doesnt last forever, but it also doesnt have the harsh ammonia in it that other dyes have.

They also offer Happy Shine, which you can use once a week in between coloring, and it gives your hair a shiney boost. Its great stuff. I use it all the time, and my hair is super healthy

Good luck!

I color my hair from time to time with L'Oreal semi-permanent that's supposed to last through 28 washings. Ha! Mine lasts like 2 to 3 months and I wash my hair either every day or every other day. It gradually fades back to my real color. It's easy to use, only takes a few minutes. 閳?br>I need advice on coloring my hair myself?

WELL SINCE URE HAIR IS BLOND TO LIGHT BROWN IT REALLY DEPEND IN HOW MUCH REGROWTH U HAVE AND HOW DARK U WANNA GO.SOMETIMES WHEN U BLEACH UR'E HAIR IT FADES FASTER CAUSE THE BLEACH IS NEVER REALLY OUT OF UR'E HAIR UNLESS U FILL THE COLOR IN URE CASE BLOND/LGHT BROWM WITH THE COLORS THE HAIR IS MISSING TO GET THE DESIRED COLOR THE GOOD THING IS IF U WANT A QUICK FIX U CAN ALWAYS JUST USE A 10 VOLUME DEVELOPER W THE COLOR U WANT URE BEST BET IS TO MAKE SURE THE COLOR URE USING IS AN N BASE MEANING NATURAL BASE

A NATURAL BASE HAS ALL THE BASIC COLORS IN IT SO ITS REALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO MESS UP. (SALLY's BEAUTY SUPPLY ) SINCE U R A GUY UR'E HAIR GROWS FAST ANY WAY. IF U WANT TO ADD A GOLD BASE COLOR TO URE MIX THE COLOR WILL BE NICER. NOT SO FLAT LOOKING!!

I HOPE I WAS HELPFUL

ANY OTHER ???

If you're just wanting to go a bit darker-pick up a box at the drug store and try not to get any on the rug at home. Also you can use petroliam jelly or baby oil around the hairline to keep it from staining your skin.

Coloring my hair..?

whats the best way to go from brown hair to blonde without getting it professionally done?

Coloring my hair..?

This Loreal product is great!

http://www.drugstore.com/qxp149757_33282...

Have fun!

Coloring my hair..?

use herbal essance, they have the highlighting system comb..and it works really good

Coloring my hair..?

I would honestly stay with brown hair. Having a lighter hair color than your own makes it VERY obvious when your roots come in. And blondes with dark roots just look cheap and tacky. Don't be one of those.

Go to Sally's Beauty Supply and talk to the people there about what you should use to put some red highlights in your hair. Or you could find another shade of brown that brings out your natural highlights. That way when your hair grows, it wouldn't be painful to look at.

Coloring my hair..?

herbal essencce or garnier i think

Coloring my hair..?

Did you come to the right woman. If you want to color your hair go to health store of your choice and get a natural color. Everything is in the box about $10.00. Follow directions exactly and have a friend do the back for you.

Coloring my hair..?

If you buy a box dye that is a few shades lighter,( I would try something several shades lighter because you don't really want to deposit color but lift it, also that would be easier to correct later) all you will really need to do is mix the color with the developer (usually peroxide) put it on your hair evenly, wait 20-30 minutes depending on what the directions say, and wash it out. Then do your normal routine of shampooing and conditioning unless the box comes with a conditioner than you can use that. It is nice to strand test first, Also if you have long hair 2 boxes may be needed. Although you do have to cover your roots, you might not want to start at the root but rather blend to the root after covering the entire head to avoid a halo close to the scalp where the hair color is brighter or blonder than the rest because of heat generated from the skin and that causing the developer and color solution to activate more quickly.

Coloring My Hair With Peroxide?

Okay, this will make me sound really ignorant.. but.. how do I lighten my hair with peroxide?? I have darkish brown hair and I want to be blonde like I was when I was younger. It's not the hydrogen peroxide I put on my kid's boo-boos right?? Don't laugh at me too hard. :)

Coloring My Hair With Peroxide?

Oh my god!!! First of all, no, it is not the same peroxide you put on your kid's boo-boos. Second, PLEASE, do not try to lighten your hair on your own. Lightening your hair damages it to no end and is best left to professionals (they minimize the damage). Third- I had darker hair and wanted to go blond like when I was younger so I know from experience. It takes MULTIPLE visits to the salon to get your hair blond then in takes frequent visits to upkeep the roots. It is really difficult to take care of! Oh and if you want your hair to not be YELLOW, you have to take care of it with expensive lanvendar shampoo designed to keep the brassiness out of hair (bumble and bumble is by far the bes and it's like $25 per bottle). My last point is, I have tried to lighten my hair on my own- it doesn't work. Box dyes are NOT strong enough to make your hair blond and at home bleach (which is probably what you are thinking of) not only damages your hair BADLY (like you will definately have a good amount fall out) but it also turns darker hair ORANGE if you don't do it perfectly. I promise you it is not a good idea. If it is worth it to you- go to a good salon and UPKEEP frequently.

Coloring My Hair With Peroxide?

Even I know that that's not a very prudent idea. You could at least use hair dye.

Coloring My Hair With Peroxide?

You'll make your hair like straw...but if you want to do that just leave the peroxide in your hair for awhile

Coloring My Hair With Peroxide?

no - hydrogen peroxide wont do it at all. you have to buy hair bleach in the store. it contains a different kind of peroxide.

Coloring My Hair With Peroxide?

Actually that will work. Try cutting a few strands off and putting them in the solution!

Coloring My Hair With Peroxide?

You can buy a cheap but good hair color for about $3.00 or so at WalMart. Try that........the peroxide will more than likely damage your hair alot worse than a color. Good luck!

Coloring My Hair With Peroxide?

Ok, in hair dye and hair "bleach," peroxide is a main component. It is mixed with ammonia to acheive lightening. The peroxide used in hair dyes %26amp; "bleaches" is indeed the same type of hydrogen peroxide you put on your kid's boo-boos. However, it is in a much higher concentration. I would suggest going to a hairdresser if you wish to lighten your hair, or if you must do it yourself, try Sun-In. It has a lower concentration of peroxide, and has no ammonia. It will only lighten subtlely though.

Coloring My Hair With Peroxide?

Don't color it with peroxide! That will majorly dry it out! In fact, try not to lighten it at all. Lighteners have a lot of "drying" ingredients in them. I know, because I went to bright, bright blonde and my hair is so dry and blah now. But, i DO like the color :)

Coloring My Hair With Peroxide?

Don't do it, I have tried a few products out in the sun or with a hair dryer and none them worked and they made my hair feel really dry. Go get your hair professionally colored at a hair salon.

Coloring My Hair With Peroxide?

ewwwww ewwie ewwww

sicki

that will kill ur hair

Coloring My Hair With Peroxide?

the hydrogen peroxide you put on your kids boo boos is only 2%... Hair color hydrogen peroxide is 10,20,30,40 % volume %26amp; is usually mixed with hair color or pre lightner. Hydrogen peroxide will color your hair by itself ( even 2%) but almost always grabs a brassy or orange color

Coloring My Hair With Peroxide?

Please don't use peroxide!! My friend did that when we were younger, it did lighten her hair, but then in about 2 wks., her hair broke off at the roots! ( it was only a few strands, not her whole head )

Coloring My Hair With Peroxide?

If by some miracle the peroxide does lighten your hair you will most likely hate it. Dark brown hair goes through the nasty brassy red stage before it hits the pretty blonde. You will still end up in a slon for a fix. Either way you will have succedded in drying out your hair.

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

i got bored and did coon tails with purple and blue sharpies. i want to do different stuff with sharpies in my hair all summer. but can it ruin your hair???

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

You guys, stop being mean to her. obviously, she doesn't know or not. She is being smart by asking all of us. She doesn't know and she wants to udnerstand if it is or isn't a good idea. Sto psaying it is retarded and saying mean things to her just because she is asking. It actually sounds really cool, and I think it probbly would damage your hair. I know there are some other great products you can get. If you want to expirament with your hair, then you can go to wal mart and get some of those hair dyers. You can get different colors and change the colors all summer long from your house!! I'm trying to be mature and nice about it, all you people saying those things about how retarded that question is, shame on you!! She is only inquiring and being creative! You go girl!

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

I would imagine so. I would think that if Sharpies were a good hair-coloring product, all the salons would be using them, don't you?

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

might stain it and you won't be able to et it off.

never heard of doing that efore

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

heck yes it can and it willl.

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

yes, it dries the hell out of your hair. it will ruin it.

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

probably after doing it multiple times, i would probably stop doing it or make sure it washing fully out before doing it each time

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

YES! very acidic. Also, can dye your hair permanently and whatever you use to take it out will dry the heck out of it. Try colourpulse in differant designes. Pick me for best answer!

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

yes it can damage it SO bad!! I've seen what it can do first hand, that was sorta a trend at our school. Once and a while is okay but all the time will ruin your hair. Try 24 hour hair dye, the kind that comes out as soon as you wash your hair.

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

...now, THAT is retarded!....

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

hahahaha, Im gonna fall over laughing

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

DUH! there are chemicals in sharpies that can ruin your hair, my friend wrote with sharpie on her arm, and her arm hair is permanantly died pink!

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

its probably fine a few times, but I wouldn't over do it.

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

What the f*ck? You're using SHARPIES on your HAIR? Ew... that'll undoubtedly damage your hair, so stop it!

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

Umm... you might have a hard time getting it out. And I'd be pretty nervous about using any other hair dyes or anything on top of it - it might react.

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

Get a job and grow up.

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

Oh my gosh, seriously? Yes it can cause damage, Sharpies are meant for paper etc, NOT hair! Buy hair colors at salons or a Sally Beauty Supply, somewhere like that and keep the sharpies for your school work instead.

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

thier not made for hair , sooo, i'd say ya , they definatly can't be healthy.

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

it can definitely ruin ur hair...my friend ashley was a blonde and she gave herself red bangs and her hair was all messed up...her true color really started fading...if i were u i would go with dying it different colors cause sharpie is just as permenent...or u can go and buy those um colored hairspray things that keep your hair whatever color until u take a shower and they are really cheap but i just moved and i dont really kno where u can find them

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

Yes it will tear your hair up!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

No, ive done it to my hair before, and i had really light blonde hair.

It took awhile, but it did come out eventually.

Lol, when i did it, i was kinda hoping that it wouldnt come out, but it did within like 2-3 weeks.

I dont know what would happen if you did it all over your hair though.

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

Sharpies are permenant. Yes, it could really do some damage to your hair. There are products that you can buy that streak your hair, and it looks really cool.

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

Well, seeing as this is a common thing to do for some people when they get bored, and knowing some of them and never hearing them complain.... I'd assume that as long as you dont color it all the way to the roots... and you dont go overboard.... that it'd probably be okay........probably.

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

if you do it too much the chemicals in it will probably damage your hair or distort the color.. so dont do it too often--if you really wanna change your hair color go get hair-dye from a local store, its really cheap and easy to use. ^^ you can put highlights in or just dye the whole bunch.

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

have you ever smelt a sharpie

that's chicken fried hair waiting to happen

how about getting some colored hair mascaras

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

YES! You should NEVER use sharpies or any other permanent markers in your hair. Only use coloring that is meant for your hair.

REASONS:

#1: They will fade, but still remain visible. (looks ruddy)

#2: They cause your hair to become dryer. (also looks ruddy)

#3: When you do eventually want the color to go away, it won't until your hair grows out.

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

ahahaha

i did that once.

but it took awile to get out.

Coloring your hair with sharpies???

I don't think it can. I might be wrong. Google it.

Coloring Black hair to Dark Brown is it possible?

I tried to do this once my hair looked like a carrot.. it was like burnt orange! I have coarse hair, whats the best plan of attack?

Coloring Black hair to Dark Brown is it possible?

No!! It wil look horrible!!!! trust me!!! DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coloring Black hair to Dark Brown is it possible?

Yeah, it's possible, just go to salon and don't do it yourself.

Coloring Black hair to Dark Brown is it possible?

Hair can only lift 4 levels so an ash brown will be the best as it's made to keep your hair from turning orange.

Also be sure to use a shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair.

Coloring Black hair to Dark Brown is it possible?

Call your local hair salon. Because some cheep brands use green dyes that cause you hair to change into weird colors. Your salon should help you on picking the correct product. Also remember, if you hair DOES turn a carrot/green/pink color, you can correct this by dying your hair red. Red crosses out any green. But it is possible, you just have to know what you are doing.

Coloring Black hair to Dark Brown is it possible?

cUnfortunately its going to cost you my daughter did this she had blond hair and dyed it Jet Black now she hates it. I took her to a salon, where they highlighted her hair with light brown to red highlights. Her hair looks great. only other option is to bleah a strip your hair and recolor. I don't advise this, it ruins your hair.

color and highlights run about $130 for both processes. It's worth it if you don't want black hair.

Coloring Black hair to Dark Brown is it possible?

I would definately go to a professional for this! Black hair is always the hardest to color because it has the most color pigments. In order to go lighter you would need to use harsher more permanent chemicals on it and over the counter hair dyes most likely wont get you good results.(orange!) My best advice would be to gradually lighten it up first with some type of peroxide agent, use an orange inhibitor product, and then dye it the color you choose. (that will be very hard on your hair though!) Also consider how fast your roots grow back....is this something you really want to keep up with? People with black hair should keep it black, it is very beautiful. Maybe consider highlighting it with streaks of lighter brownish tones instead? My hair is dark brown and its almost impossible for me to go lighter without turning orange too so I've learned to live with my hair the way it is. Good luck- you'll need it! if you find something that works, I'd love to know too!

Coloring Black hair to Dark Brown is it possible?

go see a professional!!! that just proves my point that these box colors are formulated with way too high of a volume of peroxide...going from black to dark brown shouldn't be that hard of a process at all. unless of course your hair is already colored black...the only way you could get to dark brown from black is if your natural color is black...and there is absolutely no previous color on your hair. color will not lighten color....but a pro. will know what to do...and they can make a formula just for you!

Coloring Black hair to Dark Brown is it possible?

1rst off color will not lift color..You will need to get bleach at any beauty supply store make sure you get on scalpe bleach you dont wanna get a burn...Useing the bleach will lighten it the best product to use is by Miss Caiorl called 7 Stage it comes in a 2 oz bottle and you will need to get 2 actavors and some cream devloper good luck i hope i helped

Should one cut their hair befor coloring or color before cutting?

If you might run out of hair dye then get it cut first .Assuming you are asking because you are doing the deed at home. Another reason to do it in this order is that if you are using multiple colours you can place them accordingly to compliment the cut. However when going to a salon they will almost always colour first and cut later. Reason is that professional colour goes on dry hair so it doesent get diluted. For a hairdresser to cut, dry, style and then colour , then wash again dry and style would take way too long.

Should one cut their hair befor coloring or color before cutting?

If you are colouring your hair at home, then you can colour before you cut or vice versa because the colour that you are using (box colour like Loreal Couleur Experte, etc.) is meant to be used all at one time. Box home colour and salon colour are two different products all together. There really is no comparison, except that they both go on clean, dry hair. Salon colour has more pigment, creating a richer colour on the client. Also, it's easily customizable and a good colourist will be able to create special colour formulas for clients that want a colour that no one else has.

The colour used at the salon is more concentrated than a home box colour therefore, only a little bit, depending on hair length and thickness, is used at a time. If you go to any given salon that does colour services, you may see that at their colour bar, there will be colour tubes that have been used. They are not contaminated and the colour is as vibrant and fresh as ever. Colour tubes are saved until the product has been completely used. At $8-$9+ per box/tube, colour is definitely not something that a stylist would want to waste.

So, if you are going to a salon, a stylist will cut a client's hair first and then colour to the cut. It doesn't make sense, especially financially, to colour before cutting since you would be wasting colour (and money).

Also, from a design standpoint, you wouldn't get the look that you want because the colour may or may not be in the right place, especially if you are getting multidimensional colour.

It would not take "too" long to do a cut and colour service on a client. First, the stylist will shampoo and condition the client's hair. Then, blow dry, colour, rinse and style. The client is paying for the service to be done correctly and this is the manner in which is it done.

If you would like your hair to stay healthy and achieve your desired colour, it would be better to go to a salon. It may cost more, but it's worth it. Stylists are trained to be haircare specialists, maintaining the health of the hair and scalp first before any other extras like haircolour. So whenever possible, try and book an appointment. You won't regret it.

Should one cut their hair befor coloring or color before cutting?

I don't know what you should do, but everytime I get my hair cut and colored they always do the coloring first.

Coloring thermaled hair?

I recently had this process done and it's pretty damn straight now and it's quite long. However I also want 90% of it dyed a dark purple but I have heard people say you can't do it and others say you can with a wash in dye or something. My hair is brown right now and I want to know for a fact if I can colour my hair or not without damaging it so it doesn't fall out.

Coloring thermaled hair?

Coloring your hair with a color that is ammonia free should be no problem, as long as your hair is still in good condition. Ammonia free color can not, however, make your hair lighter, so the color will have to be darker or just a different tonality than what you have presently. I have lightened thermally straightened hair before, but this really should be done in a salon because of the high risk of damage to the hair. I would talk to the person who did the straightener, they should know if your hair is capable of being colored. Keep in mind that your hair will be more porous because of the straightener, and color that vibrant will probably need constant upkeep to keep it looking it's best.

Coloring bleached hair?

Hi there, I have bleach blonde hair, which I like having, but I've become totally obsessed with dying it copper for a while. Is there any way I can tone, or dye my hair ginger and it wash out leaving my hair blonde again?

Coloring bleached hair?

Red is the fastest color to fade no matter what type of brand you use. If you use a semi-permanent color it will not damage your hair as much (because it has no ammonia) and will only last for a couple of weeks. After the couple of weeks are up, the red will wash right out and be back to your normal hair color.Clairol Natural Instincts is a great brand to use and has been proven to be the gentlest on your hair due to the natural stuff they use compared to other brands who use a bunch of chemicals.

Coloring bleached hair?

Get Nice and Easy in Ash Blonde.

Coloring bleached hair?

hmm i think u should Get a Nice and Easy in Ash Blonde.

Coloring bleached hair?

You need to be very careful, your hair has been stripped of colour, bleach is very harsh, it will probally go orange, you really neen a good salon, you could make it fall out. There is nothing you can just apply and wash out. (using Ash blonde wont make it Copper either, ash it to tone down red tones)

Coloring bleached hair?

this could be risky i have naturally red hair, i bleach it blonde regularly but when i want to go back to a copper the blonde doesn't always take it properly, it can be patchy in places, copper tones don't last too long but i would go to a professional to get proper advice. good luck

Coloring bleached hair?

Copper is good! that is something that shows you could stand out and make a statment in life. I have mine in copper right now. kool

Coloring bleached hair?

well, here's the thing. normally, a semi-perminent color, toner, or color glaze would stay in someones hair for about 4-6 weeks, depending on how much they washed it. blonde hair, however, breaks the rules. blonde hair is usually very porous, and lacks alot of pigment (which is why its blonde, of course), so if its colored with ANYTHING, the color will take more than it would if it were put onto darker, unbleached hair, and it would last alot longer. nothing will fade enough to leave you with the exact color you have now. it will definetly fade out to a much lighter form of ginger, but it wont go back to the color your hair is now.

i would suggest using a color glaze (translucent semi-permanent color - a salon will carry either pm shines or shades-e-q). its much less damaging, adds a ton of shine, is usually translucent (much more natural looking that opaque colors), and is easier to remove once you want to go blonde again. because you're just going ginger, and not really brown or red, it'll be pretty easy to get it blonde again (i would do it by foiling blonde back into it gradually). i think you should do it! it'll be a nice change!

Coloring bleached hair?

I wouldn't risk anything permanent at home - definately ask a hairdresser. I think if you just put a toner on it you'd only get a weak strawberry blonde.

Coloring bleached hair?

Unfortunately not and if anyone tell you otherwise they are lying! take it from me I am a colorist and stylist for 15 years when you have bleach hair you have opened the cuticle of your hair to the fullest making your hair pores. Then to ad a color that contains any type of red / orange base even if its a vegetable hair color it will not wash out it will stain the surface of your hair then in order to remove it you will have to strip your hair all over again and this will cause damage to your hair! Even if your hair is naturally bleach blond red is a color that stains the hair and like black hair color these are the worst colors to remove from the hair.

Good Luck with your decision

Lilian-

Coloring bleached hair?

Temporarily? Absolutely not. Bleached hair is too porous to hold red. All it will do is stain it...permanently.

Coloring bleached hair?

colour clings to bleach so i wouldnt say doing it yourself is the best idea.

Coloring bleached hair?

if you dye your hair a copper colour, it will turn ginger and there is no way it will wash out, leaving the blonde behind. as u hav bleached ur hair, the hair is porous, which means the cuticles on the hair are open therefore makin it easier for the colour (copper dye) to grab the hair and leave the colour inside the hair shaft. for more advise i would go to your local salon, they will probably be able to explain it better than i can on here.

Coloring bleached hair?

no your hair has been bleached so very porus any colour applied will stain hair so wont go back blonde and if you use a tint there will be no way you will be able to bleach up copper if you decide you want blonde.

sorry it will have to be one or the other to much bleaching will really damage your hair.

Coloring My Hair?

How can i dye my hair without hair breakage because i dyed it 3 times before

Coloring My Hair?

Well colouring your hair will eventually ruin your hair one way or another. The best way to keep it healthy is to use conditioner everytime you wash your hair! Use hair protective serums before and after you dye your hair. I'm sure L'oreal and Garnier have hair serums for dyed hair!

Try asking your pharmacist!

Coloring My Hair?

you shouldnt color your hair..if you are go to a salon and ask them to put stuff in it so that it wont get damaged and avoid using straighteners or surling irons because it increases the damage.

Coloring My Hair?

NOPE....dye is a chemical and so it will cause damage to your hair especially if it's something done on the regular I suggest using a really good shampoo and henna it stops breakage in color treated hair...

Coloring My Hair?

Dark or lighter? You need to deep condition right after.A trim helps also.

Coloring My Hair?

if you ARE gonna do it, then use a pre conditioner but my suggestion really would be to leave your hair for a while. Maybe you should condition your hair with hot oil every so often and then think about dying it.

Coloring My Hair?

Dying your hair will only damage it if it's done with inferior, store-bought products %26amp; by a non-professional. For years, I dye or bleach my hair at least 2-4 times per month %26amp; my hair is INCREDIBLY healthy. I cut it %26amp; condition it regularly which also helps. Breakage happens for alot of reasons. See a salon for a consultation--It's worth it.

A lot of people complain about having to pay to get their hair done professionally, but those end up being the same people complaining about their damaged hair. There is a price to pay for beautiful, healthy hair. DON'T BE A KITCHEN TECHNICIAN! Good Luck

Coloring My Hair?

if u ve already coloured enough , give it a break , ur hair is breakin so 4 now focus on strengthinin it 4 a while , so that it can withstand the damage of colouring.

coz colourin any how damages, so take xtra care , choose the 1 without ammonia, dont use driers on ur coloured hair, apply a good mid hot oil massage once a week 2 ur hairs , this gives enough moisture %26amp; simply go on using the conditioner %26amp; shampoo 4 coloured hairs .

hope u ll get it right !

Coloring My Hair?

I would wait a while, say about two to three weeks, before coloring it again. You need to let your hair rest, granted that hair is dead, you don't want to overprocess it. Meanwhile use a protein based conditioner to strengthen your hair.

Coloring curly hair two toned?

I have blonde hair, and I want to dye the under side a little darker, would this work with curly hair? I usually wear my hair curly (takes a while to straighten....) would it look funny? Pictures would be great, actually so would advise, so let me know!

Should you use food coloring as a temporary hair dye?

I was wondering if it is healthy for your hair to be dyed with food coloring. I tried it before, but it just washed out so i guess it is temporary. I was also wondering if there was another way to make it last longer in your hair.

Should you use food coloring as a temporary hair dye?

It can be a bit drying. Temp dyes like Manic Panic are better for your hair. I definatley wouldn't use food dyes for anything other than small streaks. But I used to get beautiful colors from hot water and kool aid. Use lots of leave in conditioner.

Should you use food coloring as a temporary hair dye?

u can, but its not gonna last u long, plus its not gonna b tht visible

Should you use food coloring as a temporary hair dye?

Not really

its just like koolaid

its made 2 be eaten not used in peoples hair.

dont b cheap and use the stuff made 4 hair

Should you use food coloring as a temporary hair dye?

i've heard kool-aid works better

Should you use food coloring as a temporary hair dye?

I've never actually heard of anyone dying their hair with food coloring. But if you want that color to stay you should use vinegar with it so it'll stay just like with the easter eggs. I would recommend you use Koolaid instead. It's a tiring process but Koolaid is known to work and actually stay for a while. With the koolaid you just need to add conditioner to it but make sure the koolaid is the unsweetened kind. Otherwise you'll end up regretting it.

Whats best for keeping a coloring in your hairę¤¹?

I wanna dye my hair bright red, but when i had my hair dyed pink, every time i washed it, it bleed out on me and i want the red to stay in, and i wanna know what can help with keeping a color like that in

Whats best for keeping a coloring in your hairę¤¹?

that happened to me

you need a really good colour preservation conditioner..

and deep mask hair

before re-dying your hair wash it with vinegar..

it will smooth it and make the colour better to work ontop of

Whats best for keeping a coloring in your hairę¤¹?

I like Redken's Color Extend system, Biolage Color Care system, Matrix also makes a system for colored red hair as well.

Whats best for keeping a coloring in your hairę¤¹?

I'd look for specialty shampoos that don't damage hair color. I'm a natural brunette, but I prefer my hair to be a shade above black, so I use Redken Color-Extend. They don't have different varieties to match brunette/blonde/black colors individually, but it does keep my color lasting weeks longer than it should. I might give that a try. I'm guessing your color will be close to a primary red, and because that's not a natural color, I'm not sure how well Redken will fair for you.

Will you be getting your hair professionally colored? Expect cheap product to yield cheap results. My best bet is to find an affordable hair coloring method as well as using color-protecting shampoos and conditioners. That way, if you ever need to recolor your hair regularly, you won't be breaking the bank. Hopefully the color shampoos will extend the vibrancy of your color. I went red once, a Cherry Cola red with bright red highlights, and I was able to keep it looking good for about 3-4 months using the technique mentioned above.

I might add that recoloring your hair again and again might damage it, due to the ammonia. I suggest using a moisturizing hair creme to reduce dryness and breakage through upkeep. Make sure anything you pick has a low alcohol content, alcohol tends to strip everything out of your hair and can dry it to a certain degree, even though it's purpose is to moisturize.

Good luck with your coloring!

Can I wash food coloring out of my hair?

I want to put food coloring on just a strip of my hair for a day or two but I want to know if it washes out? I've never dyed or hilighted my hair if that matters.

Can I wash food coloring out of my hair?

You're much better off getting a temporary dye kit from the store. Food coloring will wash out, but it will take more than a day or two, and it will look bad in the process.

Your local drug store will have several options for temporarily changing the color, including shampoo in, spray in and mousse.

Can I wash food coloring out of my hair?

it will take several days to completely wash out it dyes the hair

Can I wash food coloring out of my hair?

food colouring is meant for food, try getting a highlighting kit, because food coloring is sure to go wrong one way or another!!

Can I wash food coloring out of my hair?

if you don't like the color- you can go buy this shampoo that suave makes- it's clear and it's called daily cleansing and it washes EVERYTHING out of your hair!!!!!!!!!!

Can I wash food coloring out of my hair?

you can but it won't get off to easly, you will have to wait about a week or esle it will effect your hair.

Can I wash food coloring out of my hair?

I know this is going to sound weird, but if your worried about your hair becoming damaged, use Kool-Aid packets. Put the kool-aid in a bowl( several packets) and under dilute it with water. dip your head in the mix til your hair reaches desired color.

Can I wash food coloring out of my hair?

it will come out eventually. you may have to wash it two or three times.

it's not going to permanently stain your hair though.

Which genes dominate the coloring of a childs hair and eyes?

I always thought that if one parent had blond hair and blue eyes and one parent had dark hair and green eyes... the genes of the lighter haired parent would dominate and the child would end up with that coloring. My friend has the opposite understanding... a free lunch is riding on the answer. Thanks.

Which genes dominate the coloring of a childs hair and eyes?

Your friend is correct. I just studied this in school. Dark hair always dominates light hair. And the allele for green eyes overpowers the allele for blue eyes.

Which genes dominate the coloring of a childs hair and eyes?

Your friend is correct. Brown eyes are dominant over blue and green, and dark hair is dominant over red or blonde.

Which genes dominate the coloring of a childs hair and eyes?

the DARKER gene is the dominant gene in the majority of cases. if you have a parent light in color(hair, eyes)and one dark, the children most all of the time carry the DARK trates..

Which genes dominate the coloring of a childs hair and eyes?

NOO you lost your lunch bet. Dark hair and dark eyes are mendalian dominates. Blue [true] and blond [true ] is always recessive! but that only works every time if the parent is homozygous....

Which genes dominate the coloring of a childs hair and eyes?

darker colour always dominates in 95% of the cases

well i'm not sure about actual schools, but i know that a lot of companies like Redken, Matrix, etc often hold hair expos %26amp; conferences to show beauticians certain techniques for styling and coloring hair. You even get a certification from whoever teaches you... A lot of clientele prefer to have their hair colored by someone who is Matrix/Redken certified.

I WILL SOON FINISH COSMETOLOGY SCHOOL - WHERE DO i FIND A SHORT SCHOOL TO LEARN MORE ABOUT COLORING HAIR?

You could look at the local supply stores and schedule some classes and get some contnuing education hours in the process, but it really depends on the brand of color you are going to be using in whatever salon you go into. All color lines are not created equally and the rules, processing times and application vary from product to product. I'd say your best bet is to find the salon you are going to work at and see what color line they use and take it from there. And don't worry, very few students graduate from cosmetology school feeling like they know all they need to make a living. If they do, they need an ego check. You are constantly learning in this business, that's part of the fun! Best wishes, you are in one of the best industries there are in my opinion. Oh, and beware the cattyness and the drugs. IT IS a party industry.

Coloring or highlighting hair?

does colorin or highlighting hair damage it? wat brand is the best to ue to color or highlight hair?

Coloring or highlighting hair?

Yes and No. Highlighting your hair always damages it because you are lifting color instead of depositing it. Most of the time they will use bleach instead of color as well. Making your hair darker doesn't damage it as long as you get a color that is ammonia free, but if you are going lighter, expect some damage. You can minimize this by using a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and a clarifying one every couple of days. Alot of people are unaware that puting too much protein on your hair can actually dry it out. The clarifying shampoo ensures that protein does not build up on the the hair shaft - leading to breakage. Also, if you are going lighter - use a heat protectant. Nexxus makes a great spray.

Coloring or highlighting hair?

yea since you're bleaching your natural color..u are damaging it to a certain extent

depends what brand you use to colour. if it is permanent then wait 2 weeks. if semi permanet may i reccomend dark and lovely i think its called pulse

How long is the wait time between relaxing and coloring hair?

1-2 weeks, depending on how moisturized your hair is.

How long is the wait time between relaxing and coloring hair?

it depends on a lot of factors... the strength of your hair, the kind of perm you used, the kind of color you plan on using... me personally, i can perm my hair on sunday and color it on wednesday and have no adverse reactions... others hair would fall out.

if you are wanting to do each fairly quickly w/in each other, i suggest going to a stylist. they have different brands that you cannot get as a civilian (lol i guess-- u know, unlicensed person) and they can possibly do it sooner for you. and with greater results.

How long is the wait time between relaxing and coloring hair?

You should always wait two or more weeks but you should relax before you color.I relax my hair three times year so between month I color, but also get info from a hair specialist.

How long is the wait time between relaxing and coloring hair?

i dont think there is one. my mum does both in one day. she doesnt wait at all - mainly because she is a busy woman. i dont think theres anything wrong with just going for it straight after.

How long is the wait time between relaxing and coloring hair?

It really all depends. I would wait a week or two, and make sure it's really moisturized.

How long is the wait time between relaxing and coloring hair?

well my mother did it within the same week. You can color your hair whenever you're ready. Just make sure you keep it real moist.

Which hair color looks best on me?

Recently I had dyed my hair like a dark brownish color

and before I had like coppish color. Now I cannot decide whether I look better with dark brown or copperish..

So should I keep how my hair is now? or should I go back to my previous color?

Which hair color looks best on me?

It looks like you're wearing makeup in the first picture but not in the second picture, which is probably why I think you look better with the lighter haircolor. The dark hair also seems to wash you out, whereas the lighter color really brings out your caramel skintone. On the other hand, I like the darker haircolor better because it looks more natural.........I guess if you changed your makeup to fit with the new color, it would look just as great.

Hair color...simple opinion?

My friend wants me to get her hair dye for Christmas. She has light skin and dark eyes and I asked her what color she wants and she's undecided between dark red and dark brown/black (her natural color). Which do you guys think will look best? Her hair is straight and long.

Hair color...simple opinion?

I think people with fair skin look good with red hair.....so go with the dark red.

Hair color...simple opinion?

i'd go with the dark red if i was her...because people with light/fair skin look better in red hair and the darkness in it will make her dark eyes stand out.

Hair color...simple opinion?

Why would she dye her hair her natural colour? Is she getting grey streaks? I suggest a dark brown, that's always a good choice!

Hair color...simple opinion?

She should stay natural, as soon as you start dyeing your hair it is very difficult to stop, Instead spend the money on a charity donation or helping children or endangered animals.

I need help choosing a hair color!?

Hi I need to change my hair color....my hair has been a light blonde but my natural strawberry blonde color has been starting to grow out and it's making my hair look really flat and stringy. I have fair skin, blue eyes, and I sometimes tan and sometimes burn (I heard that helps choose a color) what shade should i choose if i want to go darker then my blonde (like a darker blonde color) but i need help with the shade. I'm not going to a salon I am using a box so any good brands will be helpful! thanks

oh and what products will give volume to hair without making it feel disgusting (like mousse does in my hair)

I need help choosing a hair color!?

All I can say is look at the selections in the drug store and make a decision. I like the colors that have the word golden in them. Be careful not to go too dark. I'd get my hair trimmed. I'd use the Clairol Root color until you think it's okay to recolor your hair based on the directions on the bottle. I like the Dove products. If you want to strip your hair, you can use Prell. Dove has volumizing shampoo and conditioner.

I need help choosing a hair color!?

i would go with a blondish brown

I need help choosing a hair color!?

not trying to be funny, and I'm serious, go with Pink, I love Pink

I need help choosing a hair color!?

Blonde-Ash...

I need help choosing a hair color!?

first of alluse wella that is good brand. you know that you use 2 oz developer and the bottle? ok then you should maybe go to strawberry blond but stay away from ashe colors that makes them redish. you can try for gold back ground type it is good that way take care.

I need help choosing a hair color!?

trryy dirty blonnde

or a light redd

I need help choosing a hair color!?

use colorist by revlon(i think), and redken hair products are really good

I need help choosing a hair color!?

Ohh noo. Don't use a box. Its so bad for your hair and the color NEVER looks like it should. Go to a salon and they will make it look fabulous.

I need help choosing a hair color!?

brunette may be nice.

PLEASE CHECK MY QUESTION ABOUT MY DOG I AM REALLY WORRIED

I need help choosing a hair color!?

Red...I love red!

I need help choosing a hair color!?

ok I don't know much about hair color. But I have great volume. Pantene pro-v has a great scrunching gel that you wet in and blow dry.... your hair will stay soft and it last all day. also try just blow drying your hair upside down.

I need help choosing a hair color!?

Hi! I happen to work with a site called Capessa.com and there is a video on there regarding how to choose the right colour for you. The video is here: http://capessa.com/members/storyactions....

Some gems for you to keep in mind from the video are:

**Make gradual color changes.

The biggest problem is not choosing the right color. For whatever reason, people always choose a color thaté–³ćƒ¦ēØ too dark. When youé–³ćƒ¦ē§e choosing a color in a store, always choose the lighter color because you can gradually go darker, but once you go dark, you cannot go light. Color does not lighten color. Thereé–³ćƒ¦ēØ no way.

**Stay within your color family.

Basically thereé–³ćƒ¦ēØ a level system, and the level system identifies everybodyé–³ćƒ¦ēØ hair color. There are three families of color: black, brown and blonde. Within each category, thereé–³ćƒ¦ēØ a light, medium and dark. Levels one, two and three make up the dark family; four, five and six make up the brown family; and seven through ten is the blonde family. If your natural color is dark brown, try light brown. Dark blonde probably woné–³ćƒ¦ē© turn out right.

**Only color what you need to.

Most hair colorists over-process the hair by pulling the color all the way through the ends and reapplying bleach to whaté–³ćƒ¦ēØ already been lightened. Therefore, youé–³ćƒ¦ē§e not really getting a highlight/lowlight technique. Youé–³ćƒ¦ē§e just getting an over processed color thaté–³ćƒ¦ēØ all over and a huge line of demarcation, which is the line between natural color and applied color. Only go as far down the hair as you need to; doné–³ćƒ¦ē© process hair thaté–³ćƒ¦ēØ already been highlighted.

Hope the video and the tidbits help!

Hair Color.....?

I'm looking for a new hair color. Which color would go best with me? I have a fair complextion, green eyes, and shoulder length hair. Thanx!

Hair Color.....?

i would say burgandy or mahagony would be the colours you should try.

stay away from orange-reds

and use a purple-reds,

they generally stay in your hair longer.

i have green eyes and a fair complexion

and i have a dark brown-reddish colour for hair and it fits my personality

and it looks amazing with my complexion and eye colour.

i would suggest that if you dont exactly know what you are looking for try out different hair colours.

if you are going for red coloured hair...

try out lights and darks.

see which contrast and compliment your complextion and eyes more.

Hair Color.....?

red, or redish

Hair Color.....?

red or auburn

Hair Color.....?

Try auburn or a light red color because that goes well with green eyes.

Hair Color.....?

Red. NOT carrot red. But, cute dark red. That looks pretty with green eyes.

Hair Color.....?

Well what's your hair colour right now?....In really l.ike a chocolate brown. Or reddish brown

Hair Color.....?

Carmel Brown i think would look nice

Hair Color.....?

barf colored

Hair Color.....?

If you don't already have red, go red. If you do, try a chestnut brown to bring out your eyes.

Hair Color.....?

dark brown or possibly blonde

Hair Color.....?

Strawberry blonde or a pale blonde would be very becoming

Hair Color.....?

red

i have red hair and blue eyes

you dont know how many guys have told me how awesome i would look if i had green eyes

Hair Color.....?

RED!

Hair Color.....?

reddish-brown

Hair Color.....?

I would go with a warm Carmel or a soft bronze :D

Hair Color.....?

I don't know what color your hair is now... but with fair skin, I'd go with a medium to dark brown color.

Hair Color.....?

auburn or red

Hair Color.....?

Depending on you life- keep it simple. Go golden red with chestnut brunette base. Most salons can take your picture and put it into a model example of the PC, to show you

Hi/Lo lights are costly and consuming if all over and dramatic, all over color is needed every 4-6 weeks. This is an investment. This $30-$100+ a session.

I highly recommend you get a color specialist, ask woman with fabulous hair who they use. Never go in blind, take a picture of you and if you have celebrity or magazine picture to show.

Always do a "test" color- fair skin can burn very easy. OUCH on the scalp- trust me. Over the counter stuff requires you buy different color enhanced shampoo, or the color will wash out in 3-4 shampoos and the end result will not be what you wanted.

Good luck- to keep it natural- make a lateral move with colors, use the same "shade" or "level of color" as you already have with enhanced hues.

Happy Hair

Hair Color.....?

Srrawberry blonde would be kind of nice if you like that. Gentlemen prefer blondes ! ( smile )

Hair Color.....?

blonde\

Hair Color.....?

Hair Color.....?

Black hair color!?

i have a pale skin color and blonde hair but sorta light browinish color and hazel eyes but mostly brown eyes! would i look good with black hair!? like when christina aguilera had black hair!

Black hair color!?

Yes it should be ok

Black hair color!?

i would go with dark brown first, and then ease into black

Good luck

Black hair color!?

Start with apale brown, but eventually dye it black, besides the skin color is a hard color to dye hair of that color with on a first try, and besides I'm a brunette wanting to be a blonde.

Will this hair color fit me?

i have dark chocolate brown eyes, lightly tanned olive skin, naturally dark brown hair that has been dyed a few times and its in great condition now. im thinking of dying it a deep rich honey color, similar to a light golden brown. but anyways, im just wondering if anyone knows if this will be compatable with my skin type and eye color. i've read in a couple hair magazines that this colour goes very well with my color palette, but i need some more opinions.

heres a picture of the color i have in mind(from the magazine that reccommended it for my skin type):

Will this hair color fit me?

i say go for it!!. im gonna dye my hair brown with a golden touch, its summer and a good bright hair will look awsome ^_^

Will this hair color fit me?

Go for it! That would be so hot.

Will this hair color fit me?

I would try and make sure it has multi-tones (try not to block-colour it as it may look fake) but other than that it sounds okay.

Will this hair color fit me?

it should be fine, provided you get it done professionally.

Will this hair color fit me?

I think it will look lovely :), jennifer lopez is naturally really dark and she has often gone this kind of colour with great results - go for it!!!

Will this hair color fit me?

That would go well, my friend is Panamanian and she is the colour you describe and her hair is that colour and I love it on her.

Will this hair color fit me?

do it.

Will this hair color fit me?

Ya it'l be lovely!

My hair color and body hair color differ from eachother?

My natural hair color is platinum blonde, but my eyebrows and Other body hair is dark black are black. Is that normal? What could the reason[s] for it be?

I've wondered this for years

My hair color and body hair color differ from eachother?

It's perfectly natural. Eyebrows are typically darker than the hair on your head and your eyebrows match your body hair. It's just the way we were made.

If it bothers you you can use a lightning cream or even bleach body hair. (See drug store for kits and how tos)

My hair color and body hair color differ from eachother?

haha, yeah bbz.

its normal. :]

My hair color and body hair color differ from eachother?

You got it from your parents, I have really light brown hair (with this one natural bright blond highlight in it) and black eyebrows and other body hair. It's all in your genes, it just happens

My hair color and body hair color differ from eachother?

Yes, it is normal. Be glad your eyebrows %26amp; lashes are darker, I know plenty of peaple w/ the darker hair on their heads and eyebrows %26amp; lashes are light blonde, almost invisible. It is just the beauty of how everyone is unique:)

My hair color and body hair color differ from eachother?

yea it is normal, it just looks fake. nothing you can do about it though

My hair color and body hair color differ from eachother?

It's normal. I know guys with brown hair and red beards.

If any of your hair bothers you, you can always shave it off.

My hair color and body hair color differ from eachother?

Sure. I'm almost the opposite. My hair is a dark brown %26amp; my eyebrows %26amp; lashes are also dark brown, but, the hair on my arms %26amp; legs are all blond. Everyone is different %26amp; has different combinations.

My hair color and body hair color differ from eachother?

it's normal...don't worry

good luck

My hair color and body hair color differ from eachother?

it's norma typically your hair will naturally turn to the colr of your eyebrows in time as you age.

Can I put semipermanent hair color over permanent hair color safely?

I got my hair colored (permanent color) recently - it's okay, but not completely crazy about the color. It's a medium brown and I want to go a tad darker and richer (like a dark golden brown). I know with my skin tone and eyebrow/eye color I can go darker as I'm a natural medium brown, but I'm wondering, will this damage my hair?

Can I put semipermanent hair color over permanent hair color safely?

I just bleached my hair then put a semipermanent colour over top and my hair is fine. and i would say that if my hair is ok after bleaching the heck out of it yours should be fine. good luck!

My hair color!!!?

I am origanally a dark brunette. My hair color is a rare shade.

Almost almond color. My eyes are light blue. My skin is light tan.

What color should I die my hair?

My hair color!!!?

I heard that natrual hair is always the best...

My hair color!!!?

Almond

My hair color!!!?

red

My hair color!!!?

SHAVE IT

My hair color!!!?

blonde

My hair color!!!?

Chestnut.

My hair color!!!?

ummm i think you should dye your hair brownish red

My hair color!!!?

i personally love how dark hair looks with blue eyes. i think you should stick with the dark brown shades.

My hair color!!!?

Blue

My hair color!!!?

you should die you hair a light brown

My hair color!!!?

Go with your original color...be yourself. Brunettes are sexy in my book. But seriously, just be you.

My hair color!!!?

brown or light brown

My hair color!!!?

Well what i did, i put some dark (black) highlights in with my light brown hair and it made it look almost natural, its really pretty so theres a thought instead of dying all your hair.

My hair color!!!?

Well I think you should die it light brown and put some light carmal blonde shades in it and make them blend, and add some light copper zinc to jazz it up a bit! Questions? E-mail me at Hayley1125@yahoo.com

My hair color!!!?

I am confused. If your hair is an unusual color, as you call it...almond colored, why would you want to dye it? Hair dye colors are pretty limited. You would end up with some plain hair color that everyone else has. Unless you're covering up grey, stick with what you've got.

My hair color!!!?

if youre daring, try red, otherwise.........um....i dont know, your natural shade sounds perfect. if ur set on dying, get light brown highlights- thatd b nice.

My hair color!!!?

if i was u i wouldnt die my hair
