i want to dye some extensions, is there a way i can do it with blue food coloring and have it not fade?

No, that's not really a good option.

You'd have to bleach the extensions completely and then color them with like... Kool-Aid or something.

I'd suggest either buying colored hair extensions or buying bleach and proper dye for the extensions.

I would go to Sally's Beauty and buy a bottle of developer for about $2. I would add the color you want and that will cost $4. At least it will be chemicals appropriate for your hair and it will stay longer.

Food coloring will probably fade and well anything that is not permanant is going to fade when you wash it. Go to Sallys or a public beauty supply store and they have blue color that would probably be better than food coloring.
