I was in Eighth grade. Soo... 13 or 14? I think 13. I casually mentioned to my mother about wanting to dye it%26amp;she worked next to a salon that was owned by her boss's wife. %26amp;she brought a book of hair colours for me to thumb through, the next day. Throughout high school, my mother has helped me dye my hair.

Ahh the memories of sun-in...I was a teen, probably about 14 or 15....used that spray on stuff...then used the boxed hair dye when I was in my 20's...

I'm 38 years old and have never colored my hair. I've been getting comments for years on how healthy my hair is and how fast it grows (from my beautician). If you minimize the level of chemicals you put in your hair, it will stay healthy.

I'm now 48 and I didn't want to do it but I was getting stupid

gray. My daughter is now 24 and I would not let her color it till she was 18, Except for Halloween and we used food coloring then.

Once you start it is hard to stop because there are so many colors and brands to choose from

As you get older you need things to change your looks and other things to make you look and feel better. If you start now there won't ( I Think) be to many things left to enhance you self being

I started at 12. I would not recommend it. My excuse is the fact that my mother had a pink fetish (I had all pink clothes, a pink bedroom, pink coat, ect). I read a book and discovered that red heads could not wear pink. You can guess the rest. It got me out of everything but the pink bedroom (had to wait till 17 for that) and I have had red hair for the last 41 years.

just tell your mom you were do very subtle ones your first time.

after i did those. i did a full on color change.

its fun. but i got tired of having roots...
