I am 90% WHITE not gray at age almost 49 and so tired of the maintenance. Do I have to cut all my hair off ? How will I know what I'd look like?

I guess it depends on how long your hair is. If it's short, you could just grow it out bit by bit, cutting off more of the dyed part every four weeks or so. Even if it's long you could just let it grow out - I know it will look kind of funny for a while, but there are so many people who go through this ackward phase that it's not really a big deal.

I suppose you could cut it all off (I've always kind of wanted to do that - I think it would feel liberating in a way) and then just let the white grow back. To get an idea of what it will look like, wet down your hair and pull it all back - then concentrate on looking at the shape of your face while imagining that you don't have any hair.

I'm not sure what its called but you can find out at a hairdresser (i think).
