Only by using super strong bleach yourself. Anything Else should be fine. If bleaching you need to go have it done, cause they have great bleach that won't ruin your hair.
I have been bleaching sine I was 14.

From my own experience, I've been either bleaching blonde or demi-coloring it red over the past 10 years. My hair is as thick as ever. Grayer, yes, thinner, no. :)

I've been dying my hair lighter since I was 12, since it decided to become darker when I went through puberty. I'm 21 now, and my hair falls out just like everyones does. 40 to 100 strands a day. My hair breaks easily in the front because it was layered and my hair didn't like it. I have a head full of thick hair, and it's not going anywhere.
