Remy ma hair color?

what is the name of the hair style that remy ma and girls have now a days with the hair color only in the middle of the hair or half of the head..like remy ma has the blonde in the front and the black at the back..i was thinkin of gettin somethin like that(not blonde tho) and i want to get it done at the hair dresser..what should i say to my stylist..just say o0o color the middle of my head..i dont want to get her confused and it comes out horrible...help me...thanks =)

Bring a few pictures of the hair style you like. You can look them up on the net, or they might have some pictures there you can see. Also, if the color is good on the pic but you don't like the cut, be sure to tell them you don't want the cut like that.

I told my hairdresser the color that I wanted and what I wanted colored. You dont always need a picture and ther isnt really a name for that coloring process. Plus a good cosmetologist will understand what you want. I have changed my haircolor about 10 times and the way it and amount of hair I colored without a picture just my explanation.

Lightening my hair color without using hair dye?

I want to lighten my hair color, but I really don't want to have to deal with dying it. Does anyone know of any (reasonably priced) shampoos or other hair products that will lighten hair or home remedies?

My hair's already a dark blonde, so I don't have to worry about the bleaching brunette hair thing, I just want I lighter shade of blonde.

Sun In! It works great! It either works sitting out in the sun, or applying heat from a blow dryer to it! Make sure you're using a moisturizing shampoo with it, and it'll work great without over drying! Good luck!

squeeze some lemons and put the juice in a container. put it in your hands and run your fingers through your hair. repeat this until its all gone and your hair is completely covered. then, go sit outside, directly in the sun, for about 30-45 minutes. it should be lighter when you wash it out. good luck!

I highlight it a light platinum color and everyone tells me thats the color that looks best on me, but I hate the roots. In the winter I get some darker color added in to even out the roots but I hate the maintainace, plus the lowlights dont last very long, Im guessing because they dont stick to the previously bleached highlights very well. . My natural color is mousey and I never get complimetns when I go natural, plus my hair is very fine and I find that hair color adds texture which I like. Any suggestions on what I should do?

I have the same situation. I have found time and time again, go darker than your natural color in the winter. Lighter roots are not as noticeable as dark.If the all over color is darker than your usual, add some red or almost black low-lights till spring. In the summer the blonde isn't as bad cause of the sun. It's fun to change! Brunette's are sexy too!

is their anyway to find like a blue-ish gray or black??....and im african american-indian and i was in walmart looking at hair color for streaks..and they had mostly "white" women..and my mom said that it's not good to use that kind..only ones wth black women..all because of the hair type..ya know..all the products and crap...well i want to know does it really matter for hair dye streaks?

nono. go to a proffess. hair salon. they have those colors and they know if it will work for your hair. plus, its almost garaunteed that it will work out. i used to use the box ones but im so glad i switched to profess. its much much better. pretty much risk free.

i think you should just pick the color you like for your type of hair. don't pay much attention on what the label looks like. =D
